NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – Thermo Fisher Scientific has priced its $1.3 billion offering of senior notes, the firm announced after the close of the market yesterday.
It is offering $500 million of 1.85 percent senior notes due 2018, and $800 million of 3.15 percent notes due 2023. The firm expects to close the offering on Aug. 22.
As reported yesterday, Thermo Fisher intends to use the proceeds from the notes offering to fund its $925 million acquisition of One Lambda, a transplant diagnostics firm.
