NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – Thermo Fisher Scientific today said that it has inked a joint marketing agreement with Mettler Toledo to combine technologies for water analysis.
The alliance combines a titration system from Mettler Toledo with two Thermo Fisher ion chromatography systems and software, providing an integrated solution for labs conducting water analysis.
"Use of Thermo Scientific Chromeleon software provides the analyst with a single point of control and unified reports," Bernard Sheldon, ion chromatography product manager for Thermo Fisher, said in a statement. "The combined system approach eliminates the need to run two independent systems and collate data and cross-calculate required results."
Further terms of the alliance were not disclosed.
