Thermo Fisher Files Registration Statement for Euro-denominated Senior Notes Offering

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb) – Thermo Fisher Scientific today filed a prospectus for a euro-denominated offering of its senior notes due in 2025.

The company has not set the terms of the offering yet. Net proceeds from the offering will go toward repaying debt. HSBC, Deutsche Bank, and the Royal Bank of Scotland are listed as the underwriters for the offering.

Last week, Thermo Fisher priced its offering of $800 million of senior notes. The company said at the time that it also planned a euro-denominated offering of its senior notes before the end of the year, depending on market conditions.
