Teranode Raises $9.5M in Series B Round

NEW YORK, Sept. 12 (GenomeWeb News) - Teranode has closed a $9.5-million Series B financing round, the Seattle-based company said today.

 

Cargill Ventures and Trident Capital led the investment and were joined by prior investors Ignition Partners and WRF Capital.

 

Teranode plans to use the funding to expand sales and consulting in "major biopharma hubs" in North America and Europe. It will also add to its product to support translational medicine and establish a program for technology partnerships.

 

Teranode has an informatics platform, XDA, that combines computational chemistry and biology with lab data to automate tasks. Including the Series B round, the company has raised $12.1 million in total.
