Tecan, Pierce Collaborate on Drug Discovery Products

NEW YORK, May 17 (GenomeWeb News) - Tecan and Pierce Biotechnology said today that they have agreed to collaborate on the development and marketing of a series of high-throughput screening solutions incorporating fluorescence lifetime technology.


According to the companies, FLT is a spectroscopic technology used for drug screening.


The partnership will combine Tecan's ultra evolution detection platform for high-throughput FLT measurements and Pierce's high-throughput screening assay technology.


The companies said that they will share specific product information under their arrangement, and each will co-promote the other's technologies in sales and marketing literature.
