Strand Genomics Signs up Hitachi Software Engineering as Japan Distributor

NEW YORK, June 17 (GenomeWeb News) - Strand Genomics has signed up Hitachi Software Engineering to distribute its microarray data analysis software in Japan, the Bangalore, India-based company said today.


The agreement, under which Hitachi will distribute Strand's Avadis software in Japan, is part of Strand's strategy to establish a network of resellers for Avadis across the world.


Strand already has distributors in Singapore, Malaysia, the UK, France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, the US, Canada, China, Hong Kong, Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
