Strand Genomics Expands Distribution Agreement with Canada s UBI: May 25, 2004 (rev. 1)

NEW YORK, May 25 (GenomeWeb News) - Strand Genomics of Bangalore, India, has expanded its distribution agreement with Canada-based UBI for its Avadis software, the company said today.

 

Strandsaid that it originally signed a distribution agreement with UBI in late 2003 for its Acuris genome annotation software. The deal -- a non-exclusive distribution agreement for Canada-- was extended to include Avadis last month.

 

Avadis is a microarray gene expression analysis tool.

 

UBI, based in Calgary, specializes in distributing bioinformatics software.
