Strand and ChemAxon Integrate Admetis and JChem

NEW YORK, Jan. 6 (GenomeWeb News) - Strand Life Sciences has integrated ChemAxon's JChem software suite of software with Admetis, its in silico modeling tool, the company said today.

A tool for modeling and predicting drug-relevant properties of molecules in silico, Admetis is packaged with pre-built models, truPK and truTox, to predict bioavailability, protein binding, volume distribution, elimination half life, rate of absorption, and hERG binding.

The integrated offering will be launched in the early part of the first quarter.
