SRI International Receives NIH Grant to Expand MetaCyc Database

NEW YORK, May 18 (GenomeWeb News) - SRI International has received an NIH grant to further develop its MetaCyc metabolic pathway database, the organization said yesterday.


MetacCyc is a collaboration between SRI and the Carnegie Institution. Under the three-year grant from the National Institute of General Medical Sciences, SRI and Carnegie will further curate MetaCyc and develop SRI's Pathway Tools software, which is used to query, visualize, and edit MetaCyc.


The amount of the grant is $1 million, according to BioInform.
