Southern Research Institute Inks Drug Target Collaboration with Genome Explorations

NEW YORK, Oct. 27 (GenomeWeb News) - Southern Research Institute and Genome Explorations said today that they have agreed to collaborate on the identification of drug targets using gene expression profiling.

 

The partners said that the effort would join Genome Explorations' microarray genetics testing and analysis technology with Southern Research Institute's drug discovery and development expertise. Genome Explorations and Southern Research Institute also said they intend to co-market individual and combined services.

 

Additional terms of the arrangement were not disclosed.
