NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – Sigma-Aldrich has acquired Sigal, its Chile-based distributor, so it can directly serve its research and manufacturing customers throughout that country.

In connection with the acquisition, the firm said that it has established Sigma-Aldrich Quimica "to provide the foundation for future growth in the country."
