Serologicals to Acquire LINCO for $75M to Expand Multiplexing Products Portfolio

NEW YORK, March 24 (GenomeWeb News) - Serologicals announced yesterday that it has made an agreement to acquire LINCO, a life sciences company that focuses on supplying research assays and test kits for the Luminex-based multiplexing platform and other immunoassays.

 

Under terms of the agreement, Serologicals will pay $64.5 million in cash for the LINCO business, which has 109 employees, plus an additional $10.3 million for the land and buildings currently occupied by LINCO in St. Louis, Mo.

 

Serologicals said it expects the acquisition to be completed next month.
