SciTegic Licenses Pipelining Software to Unilever

NEW YORK, March 4 (GenomeWeb News) - SciTegic, a subsidiary of Accelrys, has sold a multi-year license of its Pipeline Pilot data pipelining software to Unilever, the company said yesterday.

According to the agreement, which is the first one SciTegic has announced since it was acquired by Accelrys in September, Unilever has installed the software at four of its sites in Europe and the US. The company will use Pipeline Pilot for informatics analyses and molecular modeling of compounds for their home and personal care, food and safety, and health and environmental R&D areas.
