Scimagix and BioImagene Announce Plans to Merge

NEW YORK, Nov. 11 (GenomeWeb News) - Image-analysis company BioImagene and Scimagix, a specialist in image management, will merge, the companies said yesterday.

 

The firms said the new company will provide products for the analysis of gels, cells, and tissues, as well as data mining and post-hoc analysis.

 

Financial terms of the merger were not disclosed. BioImagene and Scimagix are privately held companies.
