Schott Nexterion, Operon Biotechnologies to Co-Market New Microarray Kit

NEW YORK, April 13 (GenomeWeb News) - Schott Nexterion and Operon Biotechnologies will co-market a kit-based product for microarrays with components that cover every step in the microarray process chain.

 

The kit is composed of oligonucleotide sets, microarray slides, and reagents, the duo said.

 

Operon is a global DNA supplier and sells its array Ready Oligo Sets for expression analysis. Schott produces glass slides for homebrew microarrays.

 

Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed. An official from Schott could not comment on the name of the new kit, its price, or availability by press time.
