Sage-N to Distribute GeneBio s Phenyx Platform Worldwide

NEW YORK, May 24 (GenomeWeb News) - Sage-N Research today said it will distribute Geneva Bioinformatics' Phenyx platform worldwide, the company said today.

 

Under the terms of the agreement, Sage-N will sell Phenyx as a pre-installed software option on its Sorcerer 2 IDA system and as a stand-alone product.

 

Sorcerer IDA is a compact analysis system that allows researchers to submit analysis jobs for both Phenyx and Sorcerer's version of SEQUEST using a Web interface.

 

Phenyx is designed for high-throughput mass spectrometry data analysis.

 

The two companies said they plan to integrate other technologies in the future.
