Ronald Lowy, Sue Siegel, David Agus, Mari Baker, David Brailer, John Doerr, Dana Mead

Ronald Lowy has joined the board of directors of Helicos BioSciences, the company said this week. He is the former president and CEO of Fisher Biosciences, a division of Fisher Scientific (now Thermo Fisher Scientific). Prior to that, he was president of global connectivity solutions for ADC Telecommunications. He also served as president and chief operating officer at Krone.
 

 
Sue Siegel, former president of Affymetrix and currently a partner of Mohr Davidow Ventures, has been named to the board of directors of Navigenics.
 
The other members of the board are David Agus, a company cofounder; Mari Baker, Navigenics’ president and CEO; David Brailer, chairman of Health Evolution Partners; John Doerr, a partner of Kleiner Perkins Caufield and Byers; Dana Mead, also a partner of Kleiner Perkins Caufield and Byers.
