Roche, Qiagen to Create AmpliLute Media Sample Prep Kits

NEW YORK, Feb. 9 (GenomeWeb News) - Roche Molecular Systems will market media sample preparation kits supplied by Qiagen under its AmpliLute trademark, Qiagen said today.


The customized kit will use Qiagen's QIAamp technology to purify DNA from specimens stored in liquid cytology media and amplify targeted nucleic acids. Qiagen's nucleic acid-purification kits will be used as a front-end preparation solution to their amplification and detection procedure, the company said.


Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
