Roche Diagnostics Licenses Incyte s RNA Amplification Method

NEW YORK, Jan. 15 (GenomeWeb News) - Incyte said today that Roche Diagnostics has licensed its linear RNA amplification technology.


Roche plans to use the method to develop novel diagnostics based on gene expression patterns.


The T7-based linear RNA amplification technique is known as the Eberwine method. According to Incyte, it requires very small starting amounts of RNA and replicates RNA in a linear fashion.
