ReliaGene to Help Hitachi Software Engineering Develop Forensic Test

NEW YORK, May 24 (GenomeWeb News) - ReliaGene Technologies will use its Y-PLEX genotyping system to help Hitachi Software Engineering America develop human identification kits on HISAL's FMBIO fluorescence imaging platform, the companies said today. 

 

The first commercial product to be released under this agreement will be the Y-Detect screening system for the detection of male DNA in sexual assault and other forensic evidence samples, ReliaGene said. 

 

Financial terms of the agreement or launch timeline were not disclosed.
