Quark Biotech and Fujisawa Pharmaceutical Extend Collaboration

NEW YORK, Aug. 6 (GenomeWeb News) - Quark Biotech of Fremont, Calif., and Fujisawa Pharmaceutical of Japan have extended their drug discovery collaboration for an additional year, the companies said today.

 

The two companies allied on stroke research in 1999, utilizing Quark's high-throughput technology to explore gene and protein functions relating to stroke, screening genes, and devising bioassays to screen small molecule libraries.

 

Financial details were not provided.
