Qiagen, Affymetrix in Array Supply Agreement

NEW YORK, June 11-Qiagen will manufacture nucleic acid purification products for use with Affymetrix GeneChip arrays, the Dutch lab supply company said yesterday.

 

This supply agreement follows from a research collaboration in which Qiagen's nucleic acid purification technologies were adapted for use with Affymetrix microarrays.

 

Affymetrix will distribute the Qiagen products. Financial details of the arrangement were not disclosed.

 

Qiagen is based in Venlo, the Netherlands.
