Pyxis Genomics Collaborates with Helix BioMedix on Peptide-Based Animal Therapeutics

NEW YORK, Dec. 12 (GenomeWeb News) - Bothell, Wash.-based peptide technology company Helix BioMedix announced today that it is collaborating with Pyxis Genomics of Chicago, providing its peptide library for analysis by Pyxis.

 

Pyxis will use its microarray technology to screen the peptides for possible non-antibiotic activity as an animal health therapeutic that will stimulate immunity without the use of antibiotics.

 

Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
