Pyrosequencing Finishes Reorganization With New CFO

NEW YORK, Jan. 7-Pyrosequencing today announced that it has hired Mats-Olof Wallin as chief financial officer.

Wallin will be based in Uppsala, Sweden, and will oversee financial activities in the company's Swedish and US offices. The two locations were previously managed separately.

He will officially join the company on March 1, 2003, replacing current vice president of finance and administration Magnus Roubert.

Harry Wilcox, Pyrosequencing's executive vice president and chief of finance and corporate development in Boston, will continue to direct business development for the company as a consultant.

Wallin is currently CFO of Ortivus, a Swedish medical technology company. Prior to that he was in financial management at Pharmacia.
