Purely Proteins Raises First-Round Venture Financing

NEW YORK, Nov. 26 (GenomeWeb News) - Purely Proteins of Cambridge, UK said late yesterday it had raised an initial round of venture financing, but did not disclose the amount of the financing.

 

The company's business involves purification of suites of human proteins, as well as drug discovery services for therapeutic targets of these proteins that brings together in silico and biochemical approaches, according to David Parry-Smith, COO.

 

The funding round was led by Avlar BioVentrues and Yorkshire Fund Managers.
