Proteros Providing X-ray Protein Structures to Nimbus for Drug Targets

By a GenomeWeb Staff Reporter

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – Proteros today announced a deal with Nimbus Discovery to provide X-ray protein crystal structures for drug targets.

Under the terms of the deal, Proteros will provide structures from its Gallery Structure catalogue of ready-to-use proteins for X-ray structure analysis of protein-ligand complexes, and gene-to-structure projects for novel biological targets, the German firm said.

Its high-throughput crystallography platform and proprietary technologies will be used to provide Nimbus with "rapid turnaround in support of their discovery projects," Proteros said, adding it will generate customized structures for Nimbus' proprietary programs and clinical candidates.

Financial and other terms of the deal were not disclosed.
