ProMetic Closes CA$23M in Financing

NEW YORK, Jan. 9 (GenomeWeb News) - Montreal, Canada-based ProMetic announced today that it has closed CA$23 million in financing after underwriters exercised an over-allotment option that entitlted them to purchase an additional 1.6 million shares over the original 10.5 million they had already purchased as of Dec. 24.


The over-allotment transaction is scheduled to close on Jan. 16.


The underwriters included Loewen, Ondaatje, McCutcheon, Sprott Securities, Dundee Securities, and Canaccord Capital.
