Promega to Distribute Gene Expression Assays Based on EraGen Technology

NEW YORK, March 9 (GenomeWeb News) - Promega and EraGen Biosciences have entered a distribution partnership that gives Promega exclusive rights to quantitative gene expression assays using technology developed by EraGen.

Promega has global distribution rights for the assays. Promega will develop and manufacture reagent systems in its Madison, Wis., facility, while EraGen will provide its patented chemistry and proprietary software for nucleic acid detection.

The launch of the assays, which will be marketed under the Promega brand, is scheduled for this year.
