Pharmacopeia Licenses Technology to Fqubed

NEW YORK, April 12 (GenomeWeb News) - Fqubed said today that it has received from Pharmacopeia a worldwide exclusive license to intellectual property related to multiplexed fluid dispensing through a novel valveless delivery system, fluid processing, and automated soft materials product collection.

Fqubed said that it has also licensed from Pharmacopeia two high-throughput experimentation instruments related to the technology. The company added that the technology was invented to streamline a solvent processing step in Pharmacopeia's discovery chemistry workflow, but that new application possibilities have been identified.

Details of how Fqubed plans to use the licensed technology were not disclosed.

Under the deal, Pharmacopeia is to receive an upfront fee and royalties on product sales.
