NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) — Pharmacogenomics company AssureRx said today it has received a round of funding led by Cincinnati-area investors. The company did not disclose the amount of financing it received.
Investors in the round include Queen City Angels, Cincy Tech USA, the Health Foundation of Greater Cincinnati, Blue Chip Venture Company, Cincinnati Children’s Tomorrow Fund, and individual investors.
The company, which was spun out of the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center and Mayo Clinic, is focused on non-invasive, predictive pharmacogenetic tests that measure, analyze, and interpret genes of patients with neuropsychiatric disorders.
The company said its test translates data for doctors within 48 hours after it receives a sample from a patient.
