Shares in PerkinElmer fell 13.3 percent for the trading week ended Tuesday after reporting lackluster second quarter revenue growth and a fall in profits (see related article). Bruker also had a poor week, falling 7.6 percent ahead of its second-quarter results, which were released after the closing of trade on Tuesday. Beckman Coulter led gainers with a slight rise of 2.4 percent.
