PerkinElmer Opens Subsidiary in China

NEW YORK, Jan. 16 - PerkinElmer said today it established a Chinasubsidiary to provide sales and service for its life and analytical sciences products.

 

The subsidiary, which will begin business this month, will be located in the Shanghai WaiGaoQiao Free Trade Zone and will include approximately 100 sales and service employees, the company said.

 

PerkinElmer hopes to use the subsidiary as a launching pad to double its business in Chinaover the next five years, according to the company.
