PE Shuffles Life Sciences Execs as Amersham s Coggins Replaces Engel

NEW YORK, July 16 - PerkinElmer has hired Amersham Biosciences executive Peter Coggins as president of life sciences, the company said yesterday.


Coggins succeeds John Engel, who has been appointed executive vice president of operations, a new position that involves organizing company-wide productivity efforts..


At Amersham, Coggins was vice president of global sales and marketing, and also was chair of the board for Amersham Japan KK.
