Paradigm Collaborates with DuPont Subsidiary on Crop Traits

NEW YORK, Dec. 19 (GenomeWeb News) - Paradigm Genetics announced today that it had signed a three-year deal to collaborate with Pioneer Hi-Bred International, a subsidiary of DuPont.

 

Paradigm will use its GeneFunction Factory platform to identify Arabidopsis thaliana genes that influence crop traits that may be of interest to Pioneer's crop variety development program.

 

Particular financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed, but Paradigm called it a "multi-million dollar" deal.
