Orchid Cellmark Wins DNA Casework Contract from Illinois State Police Worth Up to $2.7M

NEW YORK, Aug. 30 (GenomeWeb News) - Orchid Cellmark has won a DNA testing contract worth up to $2.7 million through next year from the Illinois State Police, the Princeton, NJ-based company said today.

 

Under the exclusive contract, which went to Orchid "after deficiencies in the work of another vendor were discovered", Orchid will analyze DNA casework, according to a company statement.

 

The company has conducted similar work for the Illinois State Police in the past.
