To Offer New Tests, Genaissance Licenses BD System

NEW YORK, Jan. 24-Genaissance has obtained a license to BD's infectious disease testing platform, BDProbeTec, the company said today.

 

The non-exclusive license permits Genaissance to use this technology, which incorporates BD's Strand Displacement Amplification technique, to expand its battery of pharmacogenomics services and tests.

 

BD will provide equipment, reagents, and training.

 

Financial details of the license were not revealed.
