Ocimum Biosolutions Licenses Software to Dow AgroSciences

NEW YORK, June 6 - Ocimum Biosolutions has sold its first two licenses to its OptGene gene optimization software to Dow AgroSciences, the company said today.


OptGene allows users to design genes with optimized features for expression in an organism of choice.


Ocimum has operations in Costa Mesa, Calif., and Hyderabad, India.
