Nuvelo Moves Incorporation to Delaware

NEW YORK, March 26 (GenomeWeb News) - Nuvelo has shifted the state of its incorporation from Nevada to Delaware, effective March 25, the company said yesterday.

Nuvelo decided to re-incorporate in Delaware because of the state's "comprehensive, modern, corporate laws that are periodically updated and revised to meet changing business needs," according to president and CEO Ted Love. As a result, he stated, "investors may feel more comfortable investing in us."

Nuvelo resulted from the acquisition of Variagenics by Hyseq.
