Nonlinear Dynamics Signs OEM Deal with PerkinElmer for 2D Gel Software

NEW YORK, June 11 -   Nonlinear Dynamics has signed an OEM distribution agreement with PerkinElmer to develop 2D gel bioinformatics software, the company said today.


Under the agreement, Nonlinear will develop a product called ProFinder exclusively for PerkinElmer.

ProFinder 2D, according to NonLinear, is designed to increase objectivity and reduce hands-on time for 2D gel analysis; and to be reproducible.


This deal adds to PerkinElmer's proteomics product lineup, which includes the ProXpress 2D gel imaging system, the ProXcision gel cutting robot, the MultiProbe protein digestion workstation, the TOFprep spotting system, and the prOTOF MALDI O-TOF mass spectrometer.


The companies did not reveal financial terms of the deal.
