Nonlinear Dynamics Gets Thai Distributor for Gel Software

NEW YORK, June 6-The bioinformatics company Nonlinear Dynamics said today that Bio-Active Company will distribute the company's Phoretix gel analysis software in Thailand.

 

Bio-Active, which supplies gel electrophoresis and other genomics and proteomics tools to Thai molecular biology researchers, will be the exclusive distributor for Phoretix software in that country.

 

Financial specifics of the agreement were not disclosed.

 

Proteomics is a growing research interest in Thailand, said Bio-Active Managing Director Suwan Pongsunk in a statement.

Nonlinear Dynamics, based in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, England, supplies bioinformatics products for electrophoresis gel and microarray analysis

Bio-Active Company, founded in 1996, is based in Bangkok.
