NEWSBRIEF: Calgary University Licenses Oligo Synthesis Tech to Transgenomic

NEW YORK, May 6 - Transgenomic said today it has bought an exclusive worldwide license from the University of Calgary in the hopes of reducing the cost of synthesizing nucleic acids.


The company said licensed the technology through the company University Technologies International of Calgary, Alberta. It added that reagents manufactured and sold under the license will extend its bioconsumables product lines.
