Molecular Devices Leads Strong Week for BCW Index | GenomeWeb
Shares of Molecular Devices rose 7.1 percent for the five-day trading period ended Tuesday, leading all firms in the BCW Index. All 15 companies in the Index gained ground for the week, though Bruker was the only other firm to eclipse a 5-percent rise for the period.
Overall, the Index rose 2.4 percent. In comparison, the Dow Jones Industrial Average and the Nasdaq each gained 1.6 percent for the same period. The Nasdaq Biotech Index was up 1.8 percent.
