Molecular Connections in Literature-Mining Deal with MDS Proteomics

NEW YORK, Feb. 24 (GenomeWeb News) - Molecular Connections, a biomedical text-mining firm based in Bangalore, India, said today that it has entered into a services agreement with MDS Proteomics of Toronto.

Under the terms of the agreement, Molecular Connections will apply its literature-curation and -annotation services to experimental data provided by MDSP. According to Molecular Connections, its analysis methods will provide additional information on protein function, protein interactions, protein expression, and disease association.

Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
