Mobious Genomics Wins European Patent for Gene-Sequencing Technology

NEW YORK, Sept. 10 - Mobious Genomics today said it has received a patent from the European patent office for its ultra high-throughput sequencing technology.


Called "polynucleotide sequence analysis," the patent, based on direct, linear DNA analysis, covers "real-time monitoring of cellular replication processes" for ultra high-thoughput genomic analysis, the company said.


Daniel Densham, CEO of US-based Mobious, said the company is "already in discussions" with international pharma companies to provide sequencing services based on its technology, called Molecular Resonance Sequencing.
