MMRC Launches Genomics Initiative for Myeloma Research

 NEW YORK, March 27 (GenomeWeb News) - T

he Multiple Myeloma Research Consortium announced today the launch of a multi-million dollar research program called the Multiple Myeloma Genomic Initiative.


The mapping program is a collaboration between MMRC, Tgen and the Broad Insitute of MIT and Harvard.


The Inititive will draw on the resources of the MMRC tissue bank, which houses bone marrow aspirates and blood samples accrued under GLP standards, according to a statement.
