Mitsubishi Buys Gene Logic Database Subscription

NEW YORK, Sept. 4-Mitsubishi Pharma Corporation has signed a multi-year subscription agreement for access to Gene Logic's clinical database, Gene Logic said today.


The agreement gives Mitsubishi researchers access to the company's BioExpress database, which includes genomic and clinical data on human and animal tissue and cell lines, and its GeneExpress informatics tools.


Gene Logic did not reveal the price of the subscription, or indicate its duration.


Amersham Biosciences was involved in the deal as Gene Logic's Japanese sales and marketing partner.
