MiraiBio to Distribute Gentra s Autopure Nucleic Acid Purification System in US

NEW YORK, Aug. 29 (GenomeWeb News) - MiraiBio, an Alameda, Calif-based unit of Hitachi Software Engineering, has signed a multi-year deal to distribute Gentra Systems' Autopure LS automated large sample nucleic acid purification system and related consumables in the US and other American territories, the companies said today.


The companies added that customers requiring manual preparation of samples will be recommended other purification products from Minneapolis-based Gentra.


Specific terms of the arrangement were not disclosed.
