Minnesota s Blizzard Gets New CEO

NEW YORK, July 16-The president of microarray scanner startup Blizzard Genomics, James Adam, will now also serve as CEO, the company said yesterday.


Former CEO Martin Blumenfeld will continue as chief scientific officer and chair of the board of directors.


Adam joined the company in March 2001.


Blizzard, based in St. Paul, Minn., is developing a low-cost LED-based chip scannerthat it hopes to have on the market by the end of the year.
