Millipore to Use Thermo Fisher LIMS

NEW YORK (GenomeWeb News) – Millipore has implemented Thermo Fisher Scientific's Watson laboratory information management system in its preclinical and clinical development services group in St. Charles, Mo., Thermo Fisher said today.

Thermo said that Millipore will use the LIMS in its regulatory compliant laboratory, which develops ligand-binding assays that are used for developing biopharmaceuticals and translational biomarker applications. It also said that Millipore is using its Integration Manager to fully integrate the Watson LIMS with the lab's instrumentation, other proprietary databases, and ERP systems enterprise-wide.

Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
