Millennium to Tie the Knot With Cor on Tuesday Afternoon

NEW YORK, Feb. 12 - Shareholders for Millennium Pharmaceuticals and Cor Therapeutics on Tuesday have approved Millennium's acquisition of Cor. |

The companies said in a statement that they expect formally to tie the knot at 4:01 p.m. EST. The new company will be named Millennium Pharmaceuticals and will be headquartered in Cambridge, Mass.

 

As GenomeWeb reported, Millennium announced plans to acquire Cor in early December 2001.
